Becoming a softball coach with South Surrey White Rock Minor Softball Association (SSWRMSA) is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact both on and off the field.

As a coach, you’ll help players grow their skills while also teaching important life values like teamwork, leadership, and sportsmanship. Whether you're a parent, a former player, or a community member eager to give back, there’s a place for you—start as an assistant or take the lead as a head coach.

At SSWRMSA, we’re committed to supporting our coaches. We provide National Coach Certification Program (NCCP) training, mentorship, and resources to ensure that every coach is set up for success—and that every athlete has the best season possible.

Application & Selection Process

All coaching applicants will be reviewed by our President and Vice-President, and shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview with our Coaches Selection Committee.

Please complete the coaching application form thoroughly and thoughtfully.

Certification Requirements

All coaches must complete the required NCCP training by March 31, ahead of the start of league play. SSWRMSA will reimburse all NCCP training fees for approved coaches.
