Becoming a softball coach can be an extremely rewarding experience. As a softball coach, you have the opportunity, not only to develop players' skills, but to teach leadership, teamwork and sportsmanship. Whether you are a parent of a player, a former player or community member looking to give back, you can start out as an assistant coach or jump right in and take the lead! SSWRMSA is committed to coach training so everyone has the best season possible.

Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed by a committee of association executives. Please fill out the following form to the best of your ability.

NATIONAL COACHING CERTIFICATION (NCCP) REQUIRMENTS FOR COACHING
A) All U13 B and U15 B coaches must have (softball specific): On Going Participation or Competition One and Making Ethical Decisions (MED).
B) All U19 B and U17 B coaches must have (softball specific) Competition One, Competition Two and MED.
**All coaches must obtain the necessary level prior to March 31 to ensure coach training/certification is in place prior to the start of league play. A copy of certification to be submitted upon request.
